Vice Versa 6.0

Around 2000 the Dutch government tightened the legislation for migrants. Until then, they roamed through large cities such as Rotterdam, without status or residence papers. As an independent foundation, we believe that they too deserve a decent future, which is why the ROS Foundation was established in 2005.

The ROS Foundation works independently of the government. Migrants came to us themselves for help with voluntary return. This is how our Vice Versa projects came into existence since 2012. We receive financial support from the EU and now also from the government.

Principles

The ROS Foundation, and within it the Vice Versa project, distinguish themselves from governments such as the DT&V in their emphasis on voluntary activity.

For years we have been guiding people without a residence permit to a better future perspective. Migrants without residence permits trust us. Confidence is important for us, everything you discuss with us remains among us.

Sometimes returning means a whole new start, like here in Iran.

The goal of Vice Versa is to help migrants build a positive future in the country of their past.

Results

Vice Versa 6.0 is the newly started version of our successful project. Previous Vice Versa projects allowed us to support hundreds of migrants from 26 different countries. Many have managed to build a new existence in their county of origin.

Global network

Both locally and globally we have a close network of various local organizations, experts or intermediaries. Our employees not only come to many different countries, we also work with volunteers with different cultural backgrounds.
